Types Of Restaurants

A restaurant, or more informally, an eatery, is usually a business which prepares and serves food and beverages for customers to dine at. Meals are normally served and enjoyed on the property, although most restaurants also provide take-out food deliveries and take-out services as well. It is the provision of food services to customers in restaurants that gives it its name. Generally, there are four types of eating establishments – fast food (fries, burgers, hot dogs, etc.), sidewalk cafe (soup gorilla), pub or tavern, and fine dining.
